I hold a doctorate degree in Media Studies from the Department of Radio-Television-Film, The University of Texas at Austin, USA. I completed my M.Phil in cinema studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi where I worked on popular Bombay film remakes. My doctorate dissertation looks at the spatialized material history of inter-regional mobility networks of video and digital productions in India. My research interests include South Asia, video cultures
