He has completed his Ph.D. jointly from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, India & Curtin University, Australia. His Ph.D. research area is Flow Assurance of Indian waxy crude oil, wax and asphaltene deposition in crude oils. Other research interests are enhanced oil recovery, CCUS, hydrogen transportation.
